And it gets worse. It looks like the chain of misinformation goes something like this: sometimes a story starts on ZeroHedge (which, let’s be honest, has its own reputation issues sometimes), and then BAM! RedStateWatcher.com is right there, scooping it up and reposting it *the same day*. It’s almost like they’re, y’know, *waiting* for the juicy, potentially-completely-made-up content.
Now, I’m not saying everything on RedStateWatcher is a lie. I haven’t personally gone through every single article (who has the time?!). But the fact that it’s an “anonymously operated conservative site” that “regularly republishes false stories” kinda raises some red flags, don’t you think? It’s like… who’s in charge? What’s their agenda? Are they just trying to stir the pot and get people all riled up?
And then you got Trump complaining about CBS and “untrustworthy news sources”. Okay, look, I’m not going to get into the whole Trump thing, but it all kinda connects, ya know? Everyone’s accusing everyone else of spreading fake news, and it’s getting really hard to know what to believe.
Honestly, it all feels like a big, messy game of telephone. Someone whispers something, it gets repeated and distorted, and by the time it reaches you, it’s, like, a completely different message. And RedStateWatcher, from what I can tell, seems to be a key player in that game.
