These things are EVERYWHERE. I saw one the other day, called the “Vwar DT Watch” which, come on, the name alone should be a red flag. The video description even says “REAL Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra & the DT Watch Ultra”, like, what even IS that? They’re trying to trick you!
The thing is, they LOOK kinda good. Like, from a distance, you might not even notice the difference. But trust me, the devil’s in the details. They try to mimick the design of the Galaxy Watch 4 and it’s predecessors but fail miserably. The software is usually a cheap knock-off, the sensors are probably garbage, and the build quality? Forget about it. I bet you could breathe on some of these things and they’d fall apart.
Why bother, right?
Now, you might be thinking, “Okay, so how DO I tell the difference?” That’s the million-dollar question. First, price. If it’s too good to be true, it probably is. A legit Galaxy Watch 4, especially a 40mm one with ECG, ain’t gonna be dirt cheap. Check reputable retailers, like the one mentioned in the text “Buy SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch 4 40mm Smartwatch with ECG Monitor Tracker”. See what the REAL price is.
Also, and this is crucial, check the seller. Is it some fly-by-night operation? Are they offering “classic durability” on a “Round Refurbished 42Mm Smart watch For Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic Sm-R885U Lte”? Seriously, “classic durability”? That sounds like something a robot would say while trying to sell me snake oil.
And don’t even get me started on “FAKE calls.” I saw that in one of the search results. What does *that* even mean? Does it pretend to call 911? I’m genuinely scared.
